Privacy
policy.
The short version: I collect the minimum I need to reply to you and to see how the site is used. I don't sell data, I don't run ad tracking, and nothing loads until you say so. The longer version is below.

Who I am
Flo HQ Ltd, registered in England. I'm the data controller for the personal data described on this page. For anything privacy-related, email richard@flohq.ai.
What I collect, and why
The contact form. Name, email, and optionally company, role and your message. It's stored in my CRM (Notion) so I can reply and keep track of our conversation. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me.
Clarity call bookings. Booking a call uses a Google Calendar appointment page. Google processes the details you enter there under its own privacy terms; the booking lands in my calendar.
Email. If you email me, I keep the thread for as long as it's useful to our conversation or any work that follows.
Analytics, only with consent. Google Analytics 4 runs only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner, with IP anonymisation on. If you decline, or ignore the banner, nothing loads. Your choice is remembered in your browser, not on my servers. Lawful basis: consent.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability. Fonts are self-hosted, so viewing this site sends no requests to font providers.
What I never do
No selling or renting data. No ad networks or cross-site tracking. No adding you to a mailing list because you asked a question.
Who processes data for me
Notion (CRM), Google (analytics with consent, calendar bookings) and Netlify (hosting and the function that delivers your form message). Some of these process data outside the UK, mainly in the US, under recognised safeguards such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep things
Enquiries and email threads: for as long as our conversation, or the work that follows it, stays live. If nothing comes of it, I clear old enquiries out periodically. Ask and I'll delete yours straight away.
Cookies
None, until you choose Accept on the banner. Accepting loads Google Analytics, which sets its standard measurement cookies. Declining sets nothing; the site works identically either way. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it's used, and take it elsewhere. Email richard@flohq.ai and I'll sort it, usually within a few days, always within a month. If you think I've handled your data badly, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. No silent edits.
